The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 4/5，一个爸爸去哪儿+伪纪录片采访的美式鸡汤，嗯，黑白影像很讨巧，华金和小朋天间的互动还是蛮有意思的
华金的角色不应由华金来演...男孩是亮点，有得奖潜力，但整体节奏差了那么几个半拍，台词亮点稀少，代入感较差，撑了将近一个小时，三星
啊吧啊吧啊吧啊吧，海边曼彻斯特式的剧情结构，诚实沟通面对解放自己，永恒不变的主题
虽然没有旁白，但片中读的那些书、做的那些访谈、录的那些环境音（所谓“使不朽”）、日记性质的自述、平添忧郁的黑白画面，都让人想起泰伦斯·马利克式的（故作）深沉。片中所有受访者都是真实出镜即兴发挥（包括一个后来被枪杀的叫布莱恩特的黑人小男孩），这倒挺适合方法派的华金·菲尼克斯。不知道这种亦幻亦真的骚操作是不是受了去年《无依之地》的启发。
3.5。文字引用+真实采访+虚构故事，相当私人相当惬意相当孤独的一部电影，只是不明白为什么翻译成这个片名，和内容完全不搭。

是那种没有剧情的聊天电影。开始还觉得有些无聊，越看越喜欢，看到最后又哭又笑。这世界让人困惑，你不好也没关系。

黑白，诗意。我们是否也应该被孩子们教育呢？不知道，因为我们从未倾听过。影片缺点就是太平淡，小孩任性引起不适了。总之谈不上喜欢。
