The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。
非常动感的歌舞片，各种障碍与解决障碍。在舞台上演绎，真的很精彩。
回家的火车上看的，继《汉密尔顿》之后的第二部音乐剧。音乐剧这种东西，将音乐和剧情结合在一起，真的很有表现力，入坑了。小镇居民的援助，是人性中最原始的善的表达。

剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…

又是一部优秀的音乐剧，节奏轻快，感情真挚。
bravo！这才是音乐剧！一个沉重的故事能够用诙谐幽默的曲调讲述最后又归为向上的生活，实在是演绎得太精彩！舞美？几乎零成本！导演编排得太妙！在有限的空间去呈现一座小镇在重大灾难下五天里无私的奉献！在灾难面前的团结总是那么令人动容！为什么我们的音乐剧无法去诙谐的缓解伤痛被？为什么伤痛总被刻意加深拷上镣铐无法再提及呢，这就是格局吧，好遗憾。歌也都好好听，泪目了都，喜欢！！

就个人而言，这部音乐剧给我的感触不是很深，可能某些剧情会有所触动，里面的音乐也没能让我记忆犹深。

挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
