The story of the relationship between the King who is renown for his ruthlessness and his subject who became his trusted steersman. They met when the King decided to disguise himself as commoner to see how his subject was doing. He befriend a commoner after a fight to decide who should win the girl's hand. They become blood brother and the commoner was assigned to be his steersman. When there was an assassination attempt at the King, the steersman tried to evade the threat and cause the boat to run aground with death penalty. It's time to see if the friendship is stronger than the rule of law that the King must have absolute authority over the life of his subject regardless of their personal relationship.

喜欢看小人物在大历史背景下的挣扎，浪潮推着大家一步步往前走，明知眼前是无路也会挣扎着走下去。喜欢夜晚两个人交错吸那同一支的香烟，万般愁苦。
关于慕尼黑协议的故事，但是没有谍战的紧张，而且好像过了一个小时才开始切入正题，没怎么看的下去，刷着手机看完的…
政治这种东西从来就没有对错，只是在于哪个人被置于哪样的对立面上。
1张伯伦真！没什么好洗的，因为张伯伦白了，丘吉尔岂不黑了（虽然政治都是灰的…2两个异国小帅锅又使眼色又送小纸条的，不知道的还以为这是一部不远千里来私会的政治版call me by your name…3当时德国是环境造就了希特勒，不是希特勒造就当时的疯癫，就算当时下的了手，一个“希特勒”倒了还会有千千万万个“希特勒”站起来的…4就电影而言拍得还算不错，张弛有度
1/5，这谍战拍的是来搞笑的吗？什么叫做毫无紧张感；这片子拍出来是为了洗白张伯伦吗？德国反对派那条线拍的真是有够烂～～～
节奏很好 制作精良 希特勒扮相奇怪了点
导演把蓝眼睛帅哥拍得太好看了，帅哥演技也很好。运镜很有想法，就是故事有点无聊
刚看完书来看电影，重要情节大体相同，但是缺少了书中细节的心理描述，整个过程也就不那么紧张和刺激了，甚至是反转都是有迹可循，没有惊喜感。
烟盒明明还有还要“shall we share?”“I'd miss you”深情的“goodbye”看得俺老基动了，Jannis大漂亮分分钟都是hugo boss走秀啊，明明是主角为嘛演员表排老后呢

7.8，为张伯伦翻案，是有那么点味儿了。但我同意原著的部分思想，张伯伦是个妥协派，也渴望和平。

不错。虽是张伯伦的洗白片，也是相对客观还原，在元历史框架内的虚构情节编织巧妙，英德双线的节奏都具备充足压迫性，杰尼斯·纽沃纳的表演非常优秀，稳压乔治·麦凯，至于希特勒的演员简直是整部戏最大败笔，咋找的？

抛开史实不谈的话，片子拍的很好，就是前期手持太抖了点，演员演技太棒了，氛围感满分。
