The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 既然男主也是鬼，而灭魂刺在男主手中，男主岂不是无敌。
开场悬疑氛围很足，中间剧情到结尾实在无聊！时空重叠，带降魔杵的现代驱魔人，多重性格的鬼魂，只有流于表面的恐怖气氛！导演以为扮鬼画符就是恐怖片，太低估观众了吧？
故事非常一般，太平淡了。而且为什么弹幕都在说这是港片的转折点？

混乱版寂静岭？剪这么零碎应该也是掩盖一下廉价特效。

好设定（地缚灵和驱魔）但是高估了观众的注意力，四个时空的交错被剪得稀烂，半天没看明白
挡着窗帘都看不清画面，这片是拍给鬼看的吧！真•阴间电影了。
作为廖启智先生的遗作，只能说是中规中矩。电影的剧情，完全是靠一众老戏骨手撑起来，剧情可谓是毫无波澜。
怀着看大案的心情，居然是这么简单的一个故事，明明是律政剧，涉及法律的专业内容少得可怜，其实拍成某一部港剧的一个单元就够了，做成电影实在差点意思。

死亡循环，与其说是循环，更应该叫做执念，每个灵魂都在重复着死前的执念。其实梳理下时间线就会发现，有好玩的了……
