The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 高度电影化的戏剧表演，所有演员都在飙戏。每一个场景都很惊艳。台词听懂了一半，还以为自己听力水平不够高，结果一起观看的英国朋友也没听懂。。
色调镜头都挺喜欢的，可能是有戳戳的加成在里面吧
感觉两个主角不是特别来电
视觉美学其实没那么突出 因为那些长焦特写明显要你看的就是演员表演 可是！这是电影啊！表演再精彩也是要和镜头互动的……而且正方形构图本来就不太能体现电影美学。。。。
看这部电影的时候很难不想起奥森·威尔斯的版本，两位导演都采用的黑白画面，也都依靠高度抽象的场景布置，受限于条件，威尔斯的剧场痕迹更重一些，镜头在剧场里，而科恩则没有这个问题，剧场在镜头里。
