The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有感情，但太少了。缺少英雄暮年的悲情，突兀地被杀像是被强加给的悲剧，而不是不可饶恕那样出于自身的迟暮，自然而然的悲情。
这是一部节奏很慢的电影，不同于以往的西部电影刻画牛仔精神，快马快枪的感觉。本片情绪是逐渐进阶的过程，所有的张力最终凝结于亨利拔枪的一瞬。片中人物不多，但是各有故事，也阐释了在这片法外之地，以暴制暴的丛林法则！

父子情这个线挺揪心，翻出枪套那个时候，故事就立起来了

传统老套路，能看，且其他都很好，唯有最后枪战配不上先前营造的氛围和超高手的水平
简简单单讲一个故事，很有美式西部片的味道，挺喜欢的
瘦弱佝偻，面部扭曲，脸色苍白，但拿枪的手永远不会抖动。这大概是现实中gunslinger的样子吧。
原以为是一部类似《小人物》那样的影片，但实际观影感受完全不一样，这就不是一部爽片，跟《小人物》风格完全不同。影片的前70分钟节奏比较慢，但后20多分钟老爸大展神威，只是最后比利小子还是被狼暗算了。我说不上喜欢这部片子，但必须承认质量不错。我给4星7.4分！
气氛不错 演员演技够味 战斗戏设计有点拉 结局有些突兀 不够有说服力 七分左右还是合适的
前面氛围营造的不错，但是最后的大决战也太儿戏了吧，反转也是草率
故事简单，纯正西部味。乒乒乓乓一阵射…全片很爷们，没见一个娘们！

观影时让我想起了博尔赫斯在恶棍列传里写的比来小子。果然就是他！没看过之前关于比利小子的电影，没想到一看就是老亨利版的了。总体剧情还算流畅，但不知道比利小子的观众可能没有什么感觉吧。
潮湿的泥土，肮脏的猪圈，衬衫发黄，菜汤易冷。就是这么old school。
不可饶恕的剧本，只是老亨利感觉没有老牛仔气质，演技略显浮夸，没荒野三部曲那味。
搜了一下还真有billy the kid这个人
色彩动人，细节精致。即使不交代老亨利的身份也很好看。
铁匠铺的男孩终于离开了小岛。
