The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这个剧最大的反转竟然是不听话的儿子非要上前线然后被自己人打死，帅儿子一颗星帅爸爸一颗星特效实在是无语，不是说是五毛而是感觉在用一个一百万的榨汁机捣蒜，剧情实在鬼扯淡。竟然有人因为我的低分评价而跑来骂我。也是服气了……现在网络还是可以不负责任说任何话。这样的时代会结束的，相信在不久的将来
所以這個片子就是，無用警察 vs 好奇心超重的女警 vs 話癆長髮奸商 vs 哲學有義氣殺手？？ Ps. 好愛神經病喵喵羊殺手哈哈！
警察局陷落：剧情简单、满嘴套话、枪战烟花.......但是看看还可以！值得周末喝杯红酒慢慢观赏！就是美国痞子的那个调调，拿捏的准准的........
警察局里的警察也太弱了，黒女主，政治正确了但不养眼啦。枪战时放配乐，绝对不好看。94年的真实的谎言卫生间枪战，没有配乐，只有枪声，弹壳落地声，被封为经典段落。
ralph主角我不行。故事莫名其妙配乐太大声。goode的颜还是那么棒。brutal for no reason特别烂生气，化用历史part也很低能。回想kingsman第一部，就知道mv不行。拖到现在不知道还能拍几部。还有aaron。审美也差，beachrat的小哥也不好看了。最后开会把每个人名号按上那里有点回归第一部想念我merlin有一星。goodie一星。
故意到监狱避风头的骗子，杀手，女警，在警察局里斗智斗勇，所有出现的物品都是可用的…

ps,以及，短评和讨论区的各位精苏比电影本身的段子有意思多了。
西部话痨爽片风格但不太爽却很话痨。戏剧冲突蛮可爱的比如讲的是男性英雄主义但主角是穿的很嘻哈的黑人女警员，正面角色全员废物加背信弃义最侠肝义胆的是暴虐底层杀手。不太精彩但看完想想还有点意思的
这种片子还谈啥演技，在一个荒无人烟的路边警察局各路人马干就完了，有点像十三号警署吧，还行。
可能我趣味比较低劣但我觉得比前两部好看，英国人拍现代英雄片不行但非常善于缅怀一二战时的帝国余晖。

2.11 喜劇和正劇反覆橫跳。拉斯普京的转圈圈值得多加一星吧。第一次见到这么奶凶的古古子，像只怪叫吉娃娃。
