The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 为之心路，从迷茫到彷徨，再到绝望，涅槃。如此真实，如此而已
真实历史事件改编，虽然不太懂南非历史、种族隔离制度、为了争取自由平等所做的牺牲，但是电影本身渐入佳境，高潮处戛然而止，还是有一定冲击力，不过也有不少问题铺垫不足。
北京疫情再起之时观看颇有一番思索，自由的代价是一切
从影片中可以看出，导演和编剧带有一定的倾向性，落脚点是对种族运动的支持和同情，因此，对三名参与者在行动过程中所采取的行动，具有一定的美化意思。选取的几个角色也各有特点，三个为自由而战斗的“同志”，一个对种族问题有同情心的警察队长，一个司法部部长的女儿，具有深切的宽容、同情心，还有一个极力掩饰自己人种的混血儿等。影片的主题是把一场预先谋划的袭击案转化为一场不可预料的种族问题讨论会。
比剧版好太多了吧！！！剧版的一些尴尬的点，在这里都处理得好好哦！
最喜欢的部分大概是三浦演讲受到阻碍的时候，亮平奔向讲台，小野站起来大喊的场景，就莫名鼻头酸酸的（电影讨论的部分也还可以 但是就结果论来讲 不就还是「ラブとライクの違いじゃない たつ好きかたたない好きかだ」
